Celebrate Life at Anantara The Palm Dubai

Located on the world-famous Palm Jumeirah, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is one of those places you can check in to and never want to leave again. The secluded, red-roofed Thai-inspired resort is the ideal spot for those who want to escape the scorching heat and relax at a white sandy private beach, lounge by the pool or simply enjoy a rejuvenating Turkish hammam.

The 5-star resort boasts 400 meters of private shoreline along with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. It is UAE’s only hotel over water villas. Float on water all day long or flip and flap around on your private beach, take a dip in the swimming pool or simply enjoy the breathtaking sunset views – you won’t be able to get enough of this stunning property.

Anantara is known for its Thai-style luxury, something that is felt and experienced here right from the time you walk in. Enter the beautiful lobby and you will be warmly greeted with a ‘Sawadee Ka’ (hello in Thai) and a refreshing welcome drink as you await your check-in. The process of check-in is really smooth and the staff is extremely accommodating.

Boasting of 293 elegant rooms and villas, including plush Water Villas, stunning Lagoon Access rooms with steps that lead you to the water and gorgeous Beach Pool Villas that come with a private infinity pool and terrace – there’s a lot to pick from. Surrounded by tropical trees and bushes, the ride to the room is just as stunning as the room itself. No matter what you pick, you are sure to have a memorable time. For an authentic experience, I strongly recommend the Lagoon Access Room villas built over the water. Though the lagoons are accessible for all hotel guests, they are usually frequented by those with a lagoon access room as it is super convenient and fun. For those of you who pick the other rooms, you can enjoy a private beach front with plenty of sun beds along with an option to go surfing or paddle boating.

The rooms are spacious with a modern, contemporary design. They feature wood furniture, Nespresso machines, comfy beds and a spacious bathroom with essential toileteries. The heart and soul of this place are the pleasing blue lagoons. So no matter how lovely the rooms are, all you really want to do is throw on your swim wear and take a dip. There are also wheel-chair accessible rooms with fully-equipped bathrooms for those with physical disabilities.

The hotel houses several restaurants and bars, each one with a different vibe, serving different cuisines. The restaurant staff are very helpful and ever ready to give recommendations. Friendly Thai hospitality can be experienced throughout the resort. From local Arabian to Asian, Australian and Mediterranean-style – be sure to find it all here. Crescendo: the all-day dining restaurant serves an international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is one of the few restaurants that serves its breakfast buffet until 11am so you can start your day a little later than usual. The Beach House: Enjoy a casual ambiance at this relaxing beach restaurant. With magnificent views, natural light, a cozy vibe and vibrant Mediterranean food, this is an ideal spot to spend some much-needed time with your partner. Sunset transforms the terrace into a laid-back lounge with great music and shisha aromas. Bushman’s Restaurant and Bar: If you’re looking to indulge in a meaty feast, this stunning Aussie restaurant is for you. From crocodile skewers to kangaroo sirloin, it is as authentic as can be. Mekong: For all you Thai food lovers, delight yourselves in delectable dim sums at this exotic restaurant that serves a range of appetizing dishes from Thailand, China and Vietnam. Mai Bar: Bask in the sun with a mojito in hand at this poolside bar offering light-bites and refreshing cocktails. The Lotus Lounge: This terrace is a great spot to enjoy sundown drinks, afternoon tea and coffee with breathtaking sunset views. It offers a light bistro-style menu with a selection of cocktails and spirits and also caters to cigar connoiseurs and shisha smokers.

Once you’re done with all the food and activities, let your aches and pains melt away at the luxurious Anantara Spa. Known for its traditional Turkish hammam rituals, refresh your mind and body at this rejuvenating abode. The extensive spa menu also includes treatments and massages for soothing and revitalizing the body with age-old techniques and premium products.

All in all, it is an extremely family-friendly resort with activities for children and adults. From a Kids’ Club to a Chill Teens’ Club to water sports for adults – you’re sure to be entertained all through your stay at Anantara The Palm.
